Luis Gonzalez
Luis González è uno dei trombettisti più celebri per le sue attività di insegnamento e solista.
Attualmente è impegnato come docente presso “Musikene”, Centro Superiore di Musica dei Paesi Baschi, svolgendo parallelamente attività solistica e partecipazione a corsi, seminari e giurie in competizioni di tutto il mondo.
È membro stabile del duo con il pianista Pepe Gallego, con il quale ha recuperato e inciso il repertorio più importante per tromba e pianoforte di compositori spagnoli del XX e XXI secolo, con i dischi “Siglo XX español” e “Gestas de un Don Nadie”. Ha inoltre registrato l’album “Sinergies” insieme al trombonista Carlos Gil e l’album “Luz Baroque” insieme all’organista Roberto Fresco.
Ha partecipato all’album “Naturaleza Humana”, incidendo il lavoro “Viñetas Sinfónicas” per tromba e orchestra di Juan J.Colomer, che riunisce composizioni per ottoni e orchestra di questo compositore, insieme all’Orchestra della Città di Granada diretta da Jose Luis Estellés.
È uscito da poco il suo ultimo album “Desde la finestra” con il chitarrista Jaume Rico. Ha fatto parte dell’Orchestra Sinfonica delle Baleari, dell’Orchestra Sinfonica di Madrid e Cadaqués Orchestra, oltre a collaborare come prima tromba con orchestre di grande rilievo e prestigio come il Royal Concertgebouw di Amsterdam, la Mahler Chamber Orchestra e Les Dissonanze.

Luis Gonzalez is one of the most outstanding trumpet players known for his work as a teacher and soloist.
He currently combines his teaching activity at “Musikene”, Superior Center of Music of the Basque Country with soloist activity and attendance at courses, seminars and juries in competitions all over the world.
He is part of a stable duo with the pianist Pepe Gallego, with whom he has recovered and recorded the most important repertoire for trumpet and piano by Spanish composers of the 20th and 21st century, with the records “Siglo XX español” and “Gestas de un Don Nadie”.
He has also recorded the album “Sinergies” together with the trombonist Carlos Gil and the album “Luz Baroque” together with the organist Roberto Fresco.
